Today in class we read the story “Telling the Truth” on page 44 in the small blue book. We also reviewed the previous chapter about the Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W).
Key Points to Remember:
Chapter 7:
– The Prophet was born in Makkah and is the last prophet of Islam.
-The Prophet lost his parents as a child and was raised by one of his uncles.
-The Prophet’s first job was taking care of the sheep (shepherd).
-Angel Jibraeel came to the Prophet in the Cave of Hira and told him the first words of the Quran which were to “Read.”
Chapter 8:
-The Prophet’s advice to the man with bad habits was to: “Stop lying and always tell the truth.”
