AssalamuAlikum parents.
We are so pleased to have your children with us this year. We have been studying our arabic letters in class. We will try and cover two arabic letters a week.
please check our website on a weekly basis as we will try to post what we covered in class.
1. We have completed up to letter sheen in the arabic alphabet. We have been using playdoh to form the letters as we learn them. this enables the child to grasp how the letters are formed.
2. In their backpacks we have placed some additional letters for them to color at home ( letters dal, dhaal, raa )
3.we have completed up to page 6 in our red coloring books. if any students have missed any please complete with them at home and read the lessons below the page for them.
4.please ensure students are dressed appropriately for sunday school which means hijabs should be worn for girls.
5. lastly, please ensure all students have a lunch. Some students wait on older siblings to bring lunch and the pre k students go to lunch earlier so they are often left waiting.
