Read and understand this chapter from page# E10 to D15
Completed this chapter and learned about seven basic terminology:
1) Sanad: The chain of narrators of a particular hadeeth
2) Matn: The actual text
3) Raavi: One of the narrators in the chain of narration
4) Saheeh: This is overall higher grade for the sanad and the matn. It means “sound and correct”
5) Hasan: This is an overall good grade hadeeth that is slightly less than saheeh.
6) Da’eef : This is overall low grade hadeeth that means there is a significant weakness in the chain or in the text of the hadeeth.
7) Mawdoo: This means that proof is available to show that hadeeth is fabricated or has untrue narration.
Learn with examples
Students must do the following:
1) Read the assigned chapter in front of their parents.
2) For Homework: Answer all the questions from the last pages of that chapter.
3) For Homework: Explain to your parents what you learned from this lesson and write down four bullet points.
