Assaamu Alaikum everyone! This is Sister Hafsa and I hope you guys are all safe and sound at home. So far this year, we have learned up to the letter faa (ف). However, since we did have a long break in between, I want to start with a review before we move on with any new letters. During class, I would usually give the students print-outs, but since I can’t do that now, the students should use their Arabic letter book. By next week, the students should have the pages with the letters Alif (أ), Baa (ب), Taa (ت), Thaa (ث), Jeem (ج), Ha (ح), and Kha (خ) done. Since it is a review, and since most students have already done some pages, it shouldn’t take too long. It’s okay if the student doesn’t finish everything on every page, they just have to practice until they feel comfortable with the letter. If it seems like a lot, try practicing for 5 minutes with one letter per day, and they’ll finish in no time! After we finish the review, we will slow down a bit to 1-2 letters per week until we finish the Arabic alphabet. If there are any difficulties or if you have any questions, please contact me at hjawad246@gmail.com. Again, I hope everyone stays inside and stays safe so that we can return to our normal schedule as soon as possible.
