There will be a poster competition in the class on Sunday, Oct 30th, 2022. All students are encouraged to practice at their homes and come prepared for this event.

35 Pillars of IslamShahadah, Salah, Saum, Hajj & ZakatExample: Pillars, flowers, balloons & etc. (Write & color them) Include what they are in a detailed description, their actions, and examples.And a related quote from Qur’an or Hadith.
4The Six Pillars of Iman. Arkanul-Iman The belief in: Allah, Allah’s angels, Allah’s Messengers, Allah’s revealed Books, Day of Judgment and Al-Qadar (Fate).Example: Draw pillars or flowers or balloons & etc. (Write & color them) And a related quote from Qur’an or Hadith.
5Books of AllahQuran, the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, and the ScrollsExample: Books, Book Shelf,  etc. (Write & color them) Include which prophets they were revealed to and brief backstory using a detailed description. And a related quote from Qur’an or Hadith.
6Story of Musa (AS)Example: Palace of phir oun, prophet Musa (as) as a baby, Allah protected,aspect of tawheed, mount Sinai, phir’oun’s magicians, miracles Allah gave to Musa (as) & etc., (Write & color them).And a related quote from Qur’an or Hadith.
7Ramadan: Fasting and Eid.Example: Significance of month of Ramadan, fasting, what do we do on Eid-Al-fitr day & etc. (Write & color them)And a related quote from Qur’an or Hadith. 
8 & HSHajjExample: Draw the steps of Hajj (Ex. roadmap, etc.) Explain how to perform Hajj, when it is usually performed, how it is important, what the stages are, etc. (Write & color them) And a related quote from Qur’an or Hadith.

Following rules will apply:

  1. Your student ID will be printed on the poster. Please do NOT write your name on the poster.
  2. Must write a quote from Qur’an or Hadith related to the subject. (Level-1 thru 8)
  3. Bring your OWN pencils, erasers, color pencils, crayons and color ballpoint pens.
  4. Must complete in school on same day during 1st period and submit by the end of 2nd period 12:00 PM
  5. Construction drawing paper size 13”x19” will be given in class by School administration.
  6. AVOID drawing humans/angels faces.
  7. Do NOT use: Any type of glue, glitter glue, oil/watercolors, sharpie, markers, highlighters. Cutting and pasting or tracing is NOT allowed. 
  8. Poster must have drawings/pictures/scenery and a quote from Qur’an or Hadith related to your subject:  

a) Have to hand-draw pictures, hand-write words/sayings and coloring. 

b) You can bring printouts from your home and draw by looking at them or from book drawings or sayings from Qur’an or hadith text.

c) Minimum 5 pictures.

  1. No hands-on help will be provided.
  2. Judges will select and nominate the first three winners from each level. Results will be announced during the Assembly.
