MCNJ Islamic Sunday School is conducting a poster competition in the class on South Euclid Sunday 28th Oct 2018. All students are encouraged to practice at your home and come prepared for this event.

| 1 | The Five Pillars of Islam. Arkanul-Islam
Example: Draw pillars or flowers or balloons or etc., (Write & color them) Shahadah, Salah, Saum, Hajj & Zakat |
| 2 | Allah Created Everything.
Example: Draw Sun, moon, earth, rain, mountain, birds etc., (Write & color them) |
| 3 | Name Five Salah (Prayers) their timings and Number of Rakahs.
Example: Draw flowers, salah posture, time clocks & etc. (Write & color them) Fajr, Dhu’hr, Asr, Maghrib & Isha |
| 4 | The Six Pillars of Iman. Arkanul-Iman
Example: Draw pillars or flowers or balloons or etc., (Write & color them) The belief in: Allah, Allah’s angels, Allah’s Messengers Allah’s revealed Books, Day of Judgment and Al-Qadar (Fate) |
| 5 | Drinking Water.
Example: Allah sent down rain, well, rivers, sea, water jug & glass & etc., (Write & color them) |
| 6 | Story of Musa (AS)
Example: Palace of phir’oun, prophet Musa as a baby, Allah protected, aspect of tawheed, mount Sinai, phir’oun’s magicians, miracles Allah gave to Musa (as) & etc., (Write & color them) |

Example: Importance of building a masjid, praying in the masjid, etiquettes & etc., (Write & color them) |
| 8 | Ramadan Fasting and Eid.
Example: Importance of month of Ramadan, fasting, what do we do on Eid-Al-fitr day & etc., (Write & color them) |

- Write your full name & level on the upper LEFT corner of your poster
- Must write a quote from Qur’an or Hadith related to the subject. (Level-1 thru 8)
a) Have to hand-draw pictures, hand-write words/sayings, and coloring.
b) Can bring printouts from home and copy by looking at them or from book drawings or sayings from Qur’an or hadith.
c) NO cut and paste or tracing allowed and NO oil/watercolors.
d) Minimum 5 pictures.
3. Bring your own pencils, erasers, color pencils, sharpie, crayons, markers, high lighter and glitter glue
4. Must complete in school on the same day and submit by end of second period 12:00 PM
5. Construction drawing paper size 13”x19” will be given in class by our School
6. Avoid drawing human faces
7. The poster must have drawings/pictures/scenery and a quote from Qur’an or Hadith related to your subject:
8. No hands-on help will be provided.
9. A panel of 4 judges will select and nominate the first three winners from each level. Results will be announced during the Assembly.
Prizes will be given to the top 3 students in each level.
